Our Policies
Here at Water's Edge, we strive to give world class treatments coupled with great customer service.
Below are some policies we have put in place to help everyone have a wonderful experience at our spa.
Booking and
Cancellations
To avoid disappointment, it is advisable to book your appointments in advance- especially those restricted to evening and weekend appointment times- to ensure that you get the time you require.
At Water's Edge your appointments are very important to us. We understand that sometimes appointment times may need to be changed or cancelled, which we are happy to assist you with. We require at least 24 hours notice (72 hours for packages and groups of 3 or more) for all amendments to ensure we have the time needed to offer these spaces to other clients looking to visit us. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, a 50% cancelation fee will be applied; a 100% fee will be charged if you no show, or if you cancel within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment.
All Venus Versa (laser) appointments require a 72 hour cancellation. If your appointment is canceled within the 72 hours you will be charged a cancellation flat fee depending on the cost of your treatment.
We are grateful for your business and appreciate your consideration.
Reservations
It is our business policy to require an active credit card to secure an appointment. Please be prepared to give this information when booking an appointment.
New Clients
If you are a new client to us, welcome! To get to know you better and perform a quality service, we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your service time to fill out our forms.
Tardiness
If you are running late, please notify our receptionist on the spa line 269-203-7248.
Our technicians will do what they can to accommodate you to avoid shortening your service or asking you to reschedule.
Services for
Minors
Here at Water's Edge, we do offer services to minors with a few recommendations from our technicians.
It is required that a person under age 16 have a guardian present when signing our paperwork and waiver forms.
For certain services, some therapists prefer the guardian be present either in the service room or in the vicinity of the spa during the client's service. As a parent or guardian, you have the right to be present in the treatment room during the child's service. Suggestions for shortened services may be made to help accommodate smaller, more active children.
In skin and nail services, some technicians will recommend that the client be a certain age before having those services performed (ie waxing, facials, full manicures and pedicures). It is our policy for children below the age of 6 to refrain from participating in manicure and pedicure services. We recommend a polish change for children under 6.
Children in
the Spa
Unfortunately the spa is no place for children. It is a liability to us to have them here- In some cases, treatment rooms present many dangers for children, including hot and sharp implements. To ensure everyone has a peaceful and safe experience at our spa, we ask that young children not accompany parents who are receiving a service. We understand the difficulty of securing child care and appreciate your cooperation. If you decide to bring your children and they are not receiving their own service, you will have to be asked to leave and you will be charged the full price of any services you are receiving.
